From E-Learning 2.0, I have noticed that technology changed the way we as individual learned. First, it was an idea of an expert, tutor, or mentor who conveys knowledge and experience to a student. This sort of teaching is known as one-to-one or one-to-many. The dependency on the teacher as expert have limited the possibilities for learning. The teacher cannot be in two places at once.
Television and recording technologies were introduce, in particular, made it possible for teachers, trainers, and experts to reach to groups of learners simultaneously, even those individual learner in the office or in the home.
Everyone is a learner but everyone also has the potential to be a teacher.
Some of the tools that helps this technology moves rapidly is podcasting. Basically, podcasting enables you to capture audio or video.
Along with podcasting, blogging is one of the most popular new media tools. About 8 out of 10 Americans know what a blog is.
Technology Training talks about the great loss of money that businesses and industries do not realized when they do not have effective training. Employees who are never trained to effectively or fully utilize the technologies of their work or provide effective customer service add up to a tremendous loss in productivity.
